3. Hosting
This website is hosted by hostNET Medien GmbH, Osterdeich 107, 28205 Bremen, Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the host. The servers are located in Germany; no transfer to third countries takes place.
4. Server log files
When the website is accessed, access data is recorded automatically: IP address, date and time, the page or file requested, the amount of data transferred, the referrer, and the browser and operating system. This data serves solely the technical operation and security of the website and is not merged with other data. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The host deletes the log files automatically once they are no longer technically required.
5. Demo of the app
The demo at /demo/ runs entirely in your browser. The items you enter
there are stored only in your browser's local storage (localStorage) and are not
transmitted to the server. I do not process this content in any way. You can reset the demo
at any time with the button in the notice bar, or clear the site data in your browser.
6. Key generator
The key generator on the home page creates the key solely in your browser, using the browser's random generator. Neither the key nor the address you enter is sent to the server or stored.
7. Downloaded software
If you run the app on your own web space, all data it records stays with you and your host. I have no access to it and am not the controller for that installation.
8. Contact by email
If you send me an email, I process the data you provide solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is the initiation or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or the legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention periods apply.
9. Your rights
You have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Please use the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
